These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the usage of ‘Gift Cards’ issued on behalf of Edunetwork Private Limited (“Company”). By purchasing or using the Gift Card, the user (“User”) agrees to be bound by these Terms. 1. Usage Scope and Eligibility ● The Gift Card is valid only for transactions conducted on the Company’s official website i.e. https://www.rentomojo.com or on the Company’s official Android or iOS mobile applications. ● The Gift Card is applicable exclusively for rental payments of the products (“Products”) rented from the Company. The User shall not be able to use the Gift Card for security deposit payments or for any other ancillary charges unless explicitly allowed by the Company. ● The Gift Card shall be valid for redemption only by New Users of the Company. For the purposes of these Terms, a “New User” shall mean any individual who has not, prior to the date of redemption of the Gift Card, rented any of the Products by the Company. 2. Validity and Redemption ● The Gift Card shall be valid for a fixed period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase (irrespective of when it is received, activated or redeemed). ● Partial redemption of the Gift Card is permitted. Any unutilized balance shall remain available within the Gift Card for the validity period and can be used across multiple eligible transactions. ● Upon expiry, the Gift Card and/or any unused balance therein shall lapse automatically. No extension shall be provided under any circumstances. 3. KYC Verification and User Compliance ● Redemption of the Gift Card is strictly subject to successful Know Your Customer (KYC) verification as per the Company’s terms and conditions available on https://www.rentomojo.com/terms-and-conditions. ● The Company shall not be responsible for any refund or restitution of the Gift Card value in case KYC verification is unsuccessful or rejected by the Company for any reason whatsoever. The User shall directly approach the Issuer or seller for any refund or resolution. ● The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation or verification before authorizing redemption or use of the Gift Card. 4. Restrictions and Limitations ● The Gift Cards are non-refundable and the User shall not be allowed to get the same exchanged for cash, credit or any other monetary value; ● The User shall not be allowed to reload or top up the Gift Card. The User shall also not be allowed to use one Gift Card to purchase another Gift Card. ● The Gift Cards are non-transferable, whether for consideration or otherwise, to any third party. ● The User hereby agrees that any attempt to manipulate, tamper with, or fraudulently use a Gift Card will result in immediate cancellation of the Gift Card without any notice to the User and the Company shall not be liable towards the same in any manner whatsoever. 5. Loss, Theft, or Misuse ● The Company shall not be liable for any Gift Card that is lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged, destroyed, or used without the User’s authorization. No replacement or compensation shall be provided in such cases. ● The User shall be solely responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of his / her Gift Card and its details. 6. Product and Service Availability ● The availability of Products and services for which the Gift Card may be used is subject to the Company’s inventory, operational capacity, and serviceable area. ● The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue any Product or service without prior notice and shall not be held liable for any unavailability or limitation in offerings. 7. Company’s Rights and Limitations of Liability ● The Company reserves the right to reject, block, or cancel any Gift Card it deems fraudulent, suspicious or appears to be obtained through unauthorized or illegitimate means. The Company shall have the right to reject any claim in the event the Company becomes aware or is of the opinion that fraud or illegal means are used to take benefit of the Gift Card. ● The Company also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the Gift Card program or these Terms at any time without prior notice to the User and without incurring any liability whatsoever towards the User or any third party. ● The User agrees and understands that the Company shall be the sole and final authority on the interpretation of these Terms. ● In no event and circumstances shall the Company be liable for any loss, damage, claim, any loss of revenue, profits of any kind in connection with the Gift Cards, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Further, in no event shall the Company’s liability in relation to a Gift Card, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, exceed the monetary value of the Gift Card as of the date of the claim. 8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution ● These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. ● Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Gift Card shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. 9. Miscellaneous ● These Terms are in addition to and do not override the Company’s terms and conditions available at https://www.rentomojo.com/terms-and-conditions, privacy policy available at https://www.rentomojo.com/privacy-policy and any other policies, all of which are deemed to be incorporated herein by reference. ● In the event any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. ● The Gift Card holder agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from and against any claim, demand, cause of action or loss or liability (including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from any misuse or unauthorized use of the Gift Card. 10. Cancellation of Orders • In case of cancellation of Orders made using the Gift Cards within the validity period, the amount will be reversed to the same Gift Card as used at the time of placing the order. • Users are required to save the Gift Card number and PIN to utilize this refunded amount as the Company will not be able to reset the PIN or reissue a new Gift Card number. • In case of cancellations where the Gift Card validity has expired, no refund will be processed for the amount paid by the gift card. 11. Others • E-Gift Cards are normally delivered instantly. But sometimes due to system issues, the delivery can be delayed up-to 24 hours.
